Seven Gross McGinley Attorneys Recognized by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers
Gross McGinley, LLP proudly announces that seven of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers this year. Three attorneys have been selected to the 2018 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list including Malcolm J. Gross, Howard S. Stevens, and Susan Ellis Wild. Each year, no more than five percent of lawyers in Pennsylvania receive this recognition. Attorneys Michael J. Blum, Samuel E. Cohen, Zachary R. Fowler, and Sarah M. Murray were selected to the 2018 Pennsylvania Rising Stars list which consists of less than 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania lawyers.
Malcolm was selected for his achievements in the area of General Litigation. He is a founding partner of the firm and practices civil litigation including corporate law, matrimonial law, media, transactions, real estate, and construction law. Malcolm was previously listed by Super Lawyers in 2004, 2006, and 2013-2017.
Howard was selected for his achievements in the area of Medical Malpractice Defense. As Chair of the Medical Malpractice Defense Group, he represents large hospitals and health networks as well as individual physicians in medical malpractice claims. Howard was previously listed by Super Lawyers in 2005 and 2011-2017.
Susan was selected for her achievements in the area of General Litigation. Her practice is concentrated on the defense of health care practitioners, hospitals, and insurance companies, as well as the representation of municipalities and public officials in all forms of litigation matters, including personal injury defense, civil rights claims, and employment matters. Susan has been listed by Super Lawyers for nine years in a row.
Michael was selected for his achievements in Medical Malpractice Defense. He regularly tries cases in the areas of medical malpractice defense, plaintiff’s personal injury, and general liability defense. He also has an active criminal practice. Michael was previously listed as a Rising Star from 2013-2017.
Samuel was selected for his achievements in Business Litigation. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and business disputes, regularly counseling small businesses and large corporations on contracts, employment, product warranties, and zoning disputes. Samuel was previously listed as a Rising Star from 2014-2017.
Zachary was selected for his achievements in Business Litigation. He provides commercial litigation support to businesses in matters concerning employment discrimination, contract disputes, insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense. Zachary was previously listed as a Rising Star in 2016 and 2017.
Sarah was newly selected this year for her work in Real Estate Law. She provides businesses, municipalities, and individuals with guidance in purchasing, selling, and leasing property as well as in land use and zoning matters.
