Attorney Michael Henry Assists Wildlands Conservancy with Preservation of 3,860 Acres in Luzerne County
Gross McGinley Attorney Michael A. Henry recently assisted Wildlands Conservancy, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, conclude a two-phase real estate transaction to acquire 3,860 acres of land from Blue Ridge Real Estate Company, including about 7 miles of Lehigh River frontage, in Bear Creek & Buck Townships, Luzerne County. The land is home to many and diverse plant and animal species and its acquisition by Wildlands and transfer to the PA Game Commission will preserve the land as publicly available open space for passive recreation including hiking, hunting and wildlife viewing and will significantly contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the Lehigh River watershed.
