Attorney Nick Nanovic Named Forty Under 40 Honoree

On July 16, Gross McGinley Attorney R. Nicholas Nanovic was honored by Lehigh Valley Business with a 2020 Forty Under 40 award. He and several of his firm colleagues attended a virtual celebration.

Chair of the firm’s Wills, Trusts & Estates group and an Accredited Estate Planner® by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, Nick has extensive background in estate planning, trusts, estate administration, taxation, and business. Having earned his LL.M. in Taxation, Nick helps individuals and business owners navigate complex tax matters, helping them understand their potential tax liabilities with the IRS and Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Additionally, he advises business entities on how to properly structure corporations, S corporations, LLCs, and partnerships.

In the community, Nick shares his expertise as the appointed coordinator for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s “Wills for Heroes” program, providing basic estate planning documents to first responders and military in Lehigh and Northampton Counties. A graduate of Notre Dame, Nick is President of the Notre Dame Club of Lehigh Valley. Recently, he was named to the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation Board of Governors, where he also serves on the Community Foundation’s Community Relations Committee. In May, he partnered with Parkland Community Library for a free estate planning webinar for local residents.

Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars named Nick in its annual listing for the seventh time in 2020, a distinction awarded to less than 2.5% of attorneys across the state.

A Carbon County native, Nick now resides in the Lehigh Valley with his wife and daughter.
