Attorneys Victor Cavacini and Andrew Ralston Obtain Zoning Approval for Unique “Curved” Digital Billboard in Center City Allentown
Attorneys Victor Cavacini and Andrew Ralston were recently successful in obtaining zoning approval for a unique curved digital billboard to be installed on one of the new signature buildings recently constructed at the corner of 7th and Hamilton Streets as part of Downtown Allentown’s remarkable renaissance. The curved digital billboard is one-of-a-kind in the Lehigh Valley, and will wrap around the corner of the building that faces 7th and Hamilton Streets. Although the zoning officer originally denied the property owner’s right to erect the sign, Vic and Andy were then retained, and, after hearings on the topic took place, were able to convince the City of Allentown Zoning Hearing Board that, because a digital billboard had existed on the previous building that was torn down to make way for the current one to be constructed, and because the current owner had never abandoned the intent to install a digital billboard on the new building once it was constructed, the owner has a right to erect the digital billboard. The zoning hearings about this sign were extensively covered by the local media.
