Michael J. Blum was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown. As a board member, Mike will help guide the organization in its mission to enable local youth to reach their full potential through positive programming and encouragement.The Boys and Girls Club of Allentown helps local young people achieve their full potential through programs related to character and leadership, education and career development, health and life skills, sports and fitness, and the arts. These programs allow children to enjoy their interests, nurture talent, express themselves, build self-esteem, and achieve personal success.Mike is a litigator, assisting in medical malpractice defense, general liability defense, and criminal matters. He is a member of the Bar Association for Lehigh County, formerly serving as Vice-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division. Mike has also served as a coach and judge for high school mock trial programs. He has been selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for the past five years, a distinction reserved for no more than 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania who are under the age of 40 or who have been practicing law for less than 10 years.
