CACLV Appoints John F. “Jack” Gross to Board
John F. “Jack” Gross was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley (CACLV). As a board member, Jack will help guide the organization in its mission to build a community in which all people have access to economic opportunity, the ability to pursue that opportunity, and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
As Jack joins the board, CACLV has organized a new project called “Color Outside the Lines.” Several Lehigh Valley organizations are joining in, with the goal of creating a five- to seven-year Strategic Plan for Diversity and Inclusion which aims to identify and remove the systemic and structural barriers to racial equity and inclusion.
Currently, Jack serves as Managing Partner of Gross McGinley, counseling businesses of all sizes on general corporate matters, real estate, intellectual property, and advertising matters. He has experience in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, doctors and medical practices, media and publishing, restaurants, and nonprofits. In the community, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Da Vinci Science Center, Lehigh Valley Business Coalition on Health Care and Allentown Commercial and Industrial Development Authority. He is a member of the Muhlenberg College Board of Associates and the Downtown Allentown Community Development Initiative.
