Gross McGinley Attorneys Susan Wild and David Crosson To Participate in Fresh Air Fund ‘Host Family Program’ This Summer
Gross McGinley Attorneys Susan Wild and David Crosson will be opening up their homes and hearts to Fresh Air Fund children by participating in the ‘Host Family Program’ this summer.
The Fresh Air Fund is an independent, not-for-profit agency that provides thousands of New York City children with unforgettable summer experiences that unlock their limitless potential.
“The Fresh Air Fund experience has been as enriching for my family as the “fresh air” experience was for the child we have hosted. We have watched him grow from a boy to a young man, and we envision that he will be a part of our extended “family” forever. My own teens loved the experience of showing him around the Lehigh Valley. I would recommend this experience to any family who is willing to open its home to city children in need of some fresh air in the less stressful environment of the Lehigh Valley,” said Wild.
Attorney Wild’s family has hosted a young child from the Bronx for the past four years and has plans to do so again this year. This will be Attorney Crosson’s first time participating in this wonderful program.
“I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to host a child and give him or her the chance to enjoy life outside of the hustle and bustle of the city,” said Crosson.
Fresh Air Fund children are boys and girls, ages six to 18, who live in New York City. The majority are from low-income communities. They typically live in apartment buildings, and are more familiar with busy city blocks than quiet country roads.
