Gross McGinley’s 2014 Law Day Adventures: Nicole O’Hara

May 12, 2014 | Category: Attorney News | Tags:

Gross McGinley was proud to have six attorneys visit Lehigh Valley schools to discuss law and the legal field as a part of 2014 Law Day on May 1st.

Attorney Nicole O’Hara visited South Mountain Middle School in Allentown and spent the morning with three, eighth-grade Civics classes taught by Mr. Zayas.  The students were very engaged and interested in the Law Day theme – “Why Every Vote Matters.”

“We discussed the Civil Rights Act of 1965 and the effects of Supreme Court’s decision last summer in Shelby County v. Holder.  Additionally, the students seemed prepared with questions about college, law school, student loans and the life of a lawyer,” said Nicole.  “It was an exciting and worthwhile experience. I plan to do it again next year.”
