Nicole O’Hara Presents International Webinar on U.S. IP Laws

Last month, Nicole J. O’Hara provided a webinar on United States intellectual property law to a group of Bosnian attorneys as a part of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) initiative to partner with other international bar organizations. Nicole is an experienced intellectual property attorney and provided webinar attendees with an overview of the federal laws governing copyrights, trademarks, and patents.

This presentation was a part of The Balkans Regional Rule of Law Initiative, with support from ABA, was a ten-week “Legal English” course that focused on topics related to the U.S. civil litigation system. During the course, Bosnian advocates learned legal terminology and concepts from experienced U.S. practitioners. Topics included civil procedure, contracts, corporations, intellectual property, and labor and employment law.

Nicole is a New Jersey District Representative for the ABA Young Lawyers’ Division and serves as the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s IP Section Secretary.
