Gross McGinley Attorneys Listed in 2017 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine

We are proud to announce that nine of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers this year. Five attorneys have been selected to the 2017 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list including Malcolm J. Gross, Howard S. Stevens, Susan Ellis Wild, Victor F. Cavacini, and Patrick J. Reilly (Of Counsel). Each year, no more than five percent of lawyers in Pennsylvania receive this recognition. Michael J. Blum, Samuel E. Cohen, Graig M. Schultz, Zachary R. Fowler, and Nicole J. O’Hara were selected to the 2017 Pennsylvania Rising Stars list which consists of less than 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania lawyers.

Mal Gross was selected for his achievements in the area of General Litigation. He is a founding partner of the firm and practices civil litigation including corporate law, matrimonial law, media, transactions, real estate, and construction law. Gross was previously listed by Super Lawyers in 2004, 2006, and 2013-2016.

Howard Stevens was selected for his achievements in the area of Medical Malpractice Defense.  As Chair of the Medical Malpractice Defense Group, he represents large hospitals and health networks as well as individual physicians in medical malpractice claims. Stevens was previously listed by Super Lawyers in 2005 and 2011-2016.

Susan Wild was selected for her achievements in the area of General Litigation. Her practice is concentrated on the defense of health care practitioners, hospitals, and insurance companies, as well as the representation of municipalities and public officials in all forms of litigation matters, including personal injury defense, civil rights claims, and employment matters. Wild currently serves as the City Solicitor for Allentown. She has been listed by Super Lawyers for eleven years in a row.

Vic Cavacini was selected for his achievements in the area of General Litigation.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, zoning and land development matters, and estate administration. Cavacini was previously listed by Super Lawyers from 2012-2016.

Pat Reilly was selected for his achievements in the area of General Litigation. He is a well-established litigator with a successful reputation in civil, commercial, and criminal litigation matters. In 2016, Reilly transitioned to “Of Counsel” with the firm after relocating his law practice to Venice, Florida. He was previously listed by Super Lawyers from 2013-2014.

Michael Blum was selected for his achievements in Medical Malpractice Defense.  He regularly tries cases in the areas of medical malpractice defense, plaintiff’s personal injury, and general liability defense. He also has an active criminal practice. Blum was previously listed as a Rising Star from 2013-2016.

Sam Cohen was selected for his achievements in Business Litigation. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and business disputes, regularly counseling small businesses and large corporations on contracts, employment, product warranties, and zoning disputes. He was previously listed as a Rising Star from 2014-2016.

Graig Schultzwas selected for his achievements in General Litigation. He focuses his practice on all aspects of civil litigation, including commercial litigation, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, personal injury, and utility law. He was previously listed as a Rising Star from 2014-2016.

Zach Fowler was selected for his achievements in Business Litigation.  He provides commercial litigation support to businesses in matters concerning employment discrimination, contract disputes, insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense. He was previously listed as a Rising Star in 2016.

Nicole O’Hara was newly selected this year for her achievements in Intellectual Property. She works with businesses large and small, advancing and managing patent portfolios, drafting patent applications, and resolving trademark, copyright, trade secret, and patent-related issues.
