Raymond DeRaymond to Serve as Art Judge for Easton Riverside Festival of the Arts
The Easton Riverside Festival of the Arts will take place this weekend, September 21-22 at Scott and Riverside Parks along Larry Holmes Drive from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There is a full line-up of music, art booths, art demonstrations, and activities for kids.
Gross McGinley is a sponsor of the festival’s 4th Annual en Plein Art Contest. Local artists will display their work throughout the weekend and will be judged by local art aficionados on Sunday. Gross McGinley attorney Raymond DeRaymond will serve as an art judge for the contest. Ray has traveled to and appreciated many museums including the Louvre, Galleria in Florence, as well as prominent galleries in Rome and New York. Through his travels, readings, and art lectures by friend, Anthony Salemme, Raymond has acquired an appreciation of art in its many facets.
To register as a contestant in the art contest, works must be dropped off at the Plein Air booth on Saturday. Judging will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday and cash prizes will be announced at 4:30 p.m. Contestants may offer their work for sale on Sunday afternoon or choose to display them at the Quadrant Bookmart & Coffeehouse.
See you at the festival!
