Attorney Thomas A. Capehart was recently appointed to chair the East Penn Chamber of Commerce. As President, Tom is responsible for leading the rest of the board in planning networking events and promoting the business community in Emmaus and the surrounding region. The East Penn Chamber also supports the initiatives of its parent organization, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Tom formerly served as the organization’s Second Vice President.Tom expressed his feelings in the Chamber’s latest Connections publication: “I look forward to an exciting and successful term with the help of our Board members. I want to thank past Chair, Kate Hart Zayaitz [National Penn Bank], for her dedicated leadership over the last two years. Thank you, Kate!”Tom is a proud resident in the East Penn area (born and raised in Emmaus). His legal practice focuses on business, real estate, and banking law.
