Litigator Benjamin J. Lewis supports the firm’s medical malpractice defense and collection services clients. Dedicated to efficient, effective, and ethical legal practice, he seeks to serve his clients well inside and outside the courtroom.
Throughout his career, Ben has provided counsel and representation to clients across several areas of law. In addition to extensive experience in discovery, document preparation, and depositions, he has successfully prepared and argued motions, pleadings, and briefs before various levels of the court.
Ben’s attention to detail, combined with his commitment to being a force for good, enables him to help his clients navigate some of their most difficult moments. His compassion and aptitude are especially valuable to physicians and medical professionals in need of medical malpractice defense.
Just prior to joining Gross McGinley, Ben focused his practice on debt recovery and collection. He is adept at negotiating favorable settlements before and after the commencement of litigation, as well as post-judgment. Also, he is well-versed in FDCPA compliance and retail litigation matters, providing professional, thorough legal service of collection claims.
In the community, Ben has volunteered with a legal aid company, offering pro bono services to economically disadvantaged individuals and representing them in their respective court hearings.
