Constance K. Nelson has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in litigation matters. She is comfortable in a courtroom, having served as Chief Prosecutor of White Collar Crime in Northampton County for thirteen years prior to joining Gross McGinley.
As a former educator, Constance serves as a legal guide for her clients to help them make educated decisions about their case from start to finish. Within her family law practice, she counsels families about adoption and surrogacy, divorce and alimony negotiations, children and youth matters, grandparent rights, and prenuptial agreements.
She assists families in estate matters as well, ensuring the wishes of individuals are carried out through Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Health Care Directives. When necessary, Constance provides estate litigation services.
A key member of Gross McGinley’s criminal defense team, she provides legal guidance across all criminal matters, with deep knowledge in white collar crime and expungement.
In the Lehigh Valley community, Constance serves in leadership roles within several nonprofit organizations. She was awarded the 2018 African American Business Leaders Award by the African American Business Leaders Council, as well as a 2020 Excellence in Business award by the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
