As a proud sponsor of Pennsylvania’s Wills for Heroes program, our team is delighted to partner locally in Lehigh County to deliver meaningful estate planning services to those who protect and serve us every day.What is Wills for Heroes?Born out of the need revealed after September 11, 2001, Wills for Heroes (led by the Pennsylvania Bar Association) now empowers a wide spectrum of outstanding public servants which include: Veterans and active-duty military Police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and ambulance drivers Flight nurses, medevac pilots, and fire police 911 dispatchers, prison guards, parole officers, and game wardensGiving Back, BoldlyWe’re energized by every opportunity to give back, rolling up our sleeves and delivering pro bono estate planning that provides real security and peace of mind for those who serve. In 2025 alone, Gross McGinley has been at the forefront of two incredible Wills for Heroes events: On March 29 at DeSales University, 26 volunteers (which included several Gross McGinley attorneys and staff) created free estate plans for 44 first responders and veterans in just six hours. On July 12, our team joined the Bar Association of Lehigh County for another successful day, delivering free estate planning documents to 44 local heroes.Local Firefighters, Please Join Us!We’re proud to share the next Wills for Heroes event in Lehigh County, reserved for members of the fire department. This session will take place on October 4, 2025, at the Allentown Fire Department administrative offices at 1902 Lehigh St, Rear Bldg, Allentown.
