Gross McGinley’s Summer Associate Program offers law students an invaluable opportunity to gain real-world experience across a multitude of legal disciplines. With both strong transactional and litigation departments, we offer 1L and 2L candidates the chance to explore a wide range of legal disciplines in a short period.
As a mid-sized, regional law firm, Gross McGinley offers a larger firm feel while providing intimate learning opportunities. Our Summer Associates benefit from diverse work assignments and unique research projects as well as shadowing and networking opportunities. We encourage engagement at all levels of the firm, providing an opportunity for Summer Associates to interact with younger as well as more experienced attorneys in their fields of interest. Gross McGinley also provides many opportunities to attend client meetings, depositions, arbitrations, trials, real estate closings, and firm social activities.
Our firm is located in the downtown business district of Allentown, Pennsylvania, a growing and vibrant city less than a two-hour drive from Philadelphia and New York City. Diverse restaurants and eateries, entertainment venues, breweries, parks, and museums are all within walking distance of our offices. Brand new apartment complexes are located mere blocks away, offering urban living with world-class amenities including rooftop decks, fitness centers, an off-leash dog park, and more. The city is surrounded by a beautiful mix of suburban life and scenic landscape with hiking and biking trails, farmers’ markets, wineries, and historic drive-in movie theatres. Gross McGinley seeks candidates who possess strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills. Strong ties to the Lehigh Valley area are preferred.
