Susan Ellis Wild Serves on Panel at Lehigh Valley CREW Summit
On November 1, 2016, the Lehigh Valley Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network (CREW) hosted its 2nd Annual Legacy Summit at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown. The half-day event featured presentations by professional women and realtors who lead by example. Gross McGinley partner, Susan Ellis Wild was asked to serve on a panel entitled “How We Prevailed Over the Old Boys’ Club“. Susan was joined by real estate broker Jane Schiff, civil engineer Kristin Holmes, and marketing executive Sybil Stershic. Each panelist discussed their work in traditionally male-dominated fields and how they successfully rose to the top. They shared their challenges and triumphs, as well as the ongoing struggles.
For over 30 years, Susan has been practicing law and honing her craft. She began her career as a litigator in Washington, DC. She moved to the Lehigh Valley in 1988, where she built a successful insurance defense practice, representing insurance companies, hospitals, and municipalities in lawsuits. She has gained many accolades over the year and is recognized nationally by Super Lawyers and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In 2015, Susan was appointed as the City Solicitor of Allentown.
