Jack Gross Elected Vice Chairman of Da Vinci Science Center Board
John F. “Jack” Gross was recently elected Vice Chairman of the Da Vinci Science Center Board of Trustees. Since 2016, Jack has served Da Vinci as a Trustee, as well as a member of the Executive Committee and Expansion Oversight Committee. The board exists to oversee the center’s activities, hold fiduciary responsibility for the organization, and provide strategic direction to ensure that the organization is able to fulfill its mission of bringing science to life and lives to science.
As Jack takes on this new role, Da Vinci is in the early stages of building a new Science Center in downtown Allentown. While the main facility in West Allentown is closed to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions, modified summer camp programs are underway while the exterior grounds welcomed BRICKLIVE Ocean, an outdoor exhibition featuring sculptures of marine life.
Currently, Jack serves as Managing Partner of Gross McGinley, advising businesses of all sizes on matters related to general counsel, real estate, intellectual property and succession planning. He also holds the position of Solicitor in Whitehall Township. In the community, he sits on the Board of Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, Lehigh Valley Business Coalition on Health Care and Allentown Commercial and Industrial Development Authority. He is a member of the Muhlenberg College Board of Associates and the Downtown Allentown Community Development Initiative. Also at Muhlenberg, Jack is an adjunct instructor in the Communications Department.
Jack is proud of Da Vinci Science Center’s commitment to providing STEM education through exploration to all children in the Lehigh Valley.
