Sarah Murray Honored by Lehigh Valley Business Forty Under 40

Attorney Sarah M. Murray was recognized as a rising star in business by Lehigh Valley Business at the publication’s annual Forty Under 40 event, this week. The honorees are selected by a panel of judges who score their achievements and commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community.

Since joining Gross McGinley in 2016, Sarah has quickly risen through the ranks and is valued for her reputation and knowledge in business and real estate. Her client base has grown to include Lehigh Valley business owners, commercial real estate owners, and individuals purchasing and selling residential real estate. Most notably, Sarah has significantly grown her municipal law practice, representing Whitehall Township, the Borough of Quakertown, and the Borough of Coopersburg as an assistant solicitor. Sarah was appointed as Solicitor to Lehigh County in early 2018. This is a prestigious role for a young attorney, which requires a strong municipal background. As Solicitor, Sarah will provide guidance to both the County Executive and the County Commissioners, while managing nine Assistant Solicitors who also serve the County.

In January 2018, Sarah was also named President of the Bar Association of Lehigh County. She is one of the youngest attorneys to serve in this position. As president, she will be the driving force behind the Bar’s education and social initiatives. Some of her initiatives include increasing young attorney involvement in the Bar as well as boosting the Bar’s educational opportunities for transactional/business attorneys. Prior to her presidency, Sarah served on the board for the bar association for five years. She also served the Bar as Co-Chair of the Finance Committee and as former Chair of the Young Lawyers Division.

In addition to her leadership and service to the Bar Association of Lehigh County and membership in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Sarah serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Cetronia Ambulance Corps. Along with advising the organization as a Trustee, she is also actively involved in the Corps as the organizer and co-leader of the nonprofit’s annual 5K event.

The firm is extremely proud of Sarah and congratulates her on this notable achievement!
