The Legal Intelligencer recently released its annual publication of VerdictSearch’s Top Pennsylvania Verdicts of 2015. Mancini v. Northampton County was ranked number four under the civil rights verdicts for 2015. The case was tried by two of Gross McGinley’s experienced litigators, Patrick J. Reilly and Samuel E. Cohen, who represented the plaintiff, Jill Mancini. Reilly and Cohen successfully received a jury verdict on behalf of their client who claimed a violation of her due process rights against her former employer, Northampton County. An appeal was filed by the County and the decision is currently pending.
