Jacob D. Oldaker

Associate

Lawyers exist not to complicate matters, but to solve problems.

Like many business owners, Jacob is committed to delivering excellence and exceeding expectations. He is passionate about the success of his clients and sees himself as an integral member of their team. Reliability and hard work are core values he applies to each project.

As a Sports Law Attorney, Jacob guides athletes, schools, organizations, coaches, and parents through the legal complexities of the novel NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) space, including support with contract formation/negotiation, compliance, and legal advising. Additionally, Attorney Oldaker represents many different types of clients in the sports industry, and he assists with organizational governance & formation, sports-related transactions, contract negotiation, sports injury litigation, and more.

Guided by a philosophy that attorneys exist to solve, not create problems, Jacob is dedicated to seeking creative municipal solutions, as well as recognizing his clients’ unique estate planning needs. His strong communication skills provide his clients with a clear understanding of the legal principles and possible paths forward.

Before joining Gross McGinley, Jacob gained hands-on experience in private corporations, acquiring insights into the retail and entertainment industries. His business acumen, coupled with an interest in building relationships, helps his clients meet their short- and long-term goals.
