Attorney Kimberly Krupka Receives 2020 Women of Influence Award

On June 15, Gross McGinley Attorney Kimberly G. Krupka was recognized as one of the 2020 Lehigh Valley Business Women of Influence. She joined more than 30 local female leaders for a virtual awards ceremony, as large public gatherings remain prohibited due to COVID-19 safety protocols.

Kim, a member of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense and Litigation teams, began her career at the firm twenty years ago. Along her legal journey, Kim was awarded a President’s Legal Eagle Award for outstanding service to the bar by the Bar Association of Lehigh County. She has also been recognized as a Lehigh Valley Select Lawyer by Lehigh Valley Style Magazine and maintains a Martindale Hubbell Lawyers’ Rating “Notable®,” peer rated for strong ethical standards.

As a Medical Malpractice Defense attorney, Kim is inspired by her clients. “I have the privilege of representing medical professionals who extend their hearts and souls in caring for patients. Witnessing their passion for patients provides me with incentive to put the same passion into representing them. I am inspired by my clients and I hope my drive to meet their expectations serves them well.”

In the community, Kim is engaged as a Trustee at Wesley United Methodist. She serves as a committee member of the PA Bar Association, Civil Litigation Retreat and The Northampton County Republican Women (Chapter of the National Federation of Republican Women). Previously, she served as a committee co-chair of the Moravian Academy SAMS (Social Activities at the Middle School).

When asked about how her achievements have made a positive difference in her profession, community, or in society at large, Kim shared “I hope that my greatest achievements have been the mentoring I have provided to female attorneys in their early years of practicing law. Our profession is best served through diverse representation. When I began practicing law in 1998, the percentage of female litigators was far too low.  Today, the percentage is growing, albeit far from where is should be. As women, we need to be the support for our peers and mentor others for them to achieve their own path of success. This support includes mentoring women to be a success at work, in their homes, and throughout the community.”
