In light of the ongoing COVID-19 issues associated with the southern United States, PA Governor Wolf has implemented a new Executive Order, dated July 15, 2020 and going into effect July 16, 2020, which has provided for a reduction in available services.Based on the Governor’s new Order, the following restrictions have been implemented statewide: All restaurant indoor dining capacity for service is reduced to 25% of fire code maximum occupancy; the maximum occupancy limit includes staff. Outdoor dining remains the same. Indoor alcohol service is restricted to meal service, and customers being served must be seated at a table, which means that there will be a restriction on bar service; alcohol only can be served for on-premises consumption when in the same transaction as a meal. Take-out sales of alcohol for the purposes of off-site consumption are permitted, subject to any limitations or restrictions imposed by Pennsylvania law. A discrete indoor event or gathering in a restaurant is limited to 25 persons; all indoor gatherings are limited to 25 people and outdoor gatherings limited to 250 people. All bars are prohibited from conducting operations unless they offer sit-down, dine-in meals, and all music and nightclubs are not permitted to operate.As of right now, gyms, state parks and personal services have not received additional restrictions. When we get a copy of the Order, we will post it here, along with any updates.Recently, restaurants and bars reopened up to 50% as per Pennsylvania’s “Green” phase. This new Order rolls back several of those allowances, as Governor Wolf said some state residents have ignored the recent mask order while congregating in bars and restaurants.
