Attorney Julianne “Julie” Danchak has been a practicing attorney since 2012. Her career began with a clerkship for the Honorable Margherita Patti-Worthington in Monroe County in 2013. Thereafter she began working at the Berks County Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender from 2013-2017. During that time, she represented indigent clients with an array of crimes stemming from simple misdemeanors to serious felony assaults and burglaries. She left the Berks County Public Defender’s Office and began her tenure as an Assistant District Attorney in the Northampton County District Attorney’s office from 2017-2024. There she honed her skills as a litigator and ultimately earned a spot as a Chief Deputy District Attorney. Julie tried numerous cases including felony drug offenses, domestic violence, sexual assaults, child abuse, and homicide. In March 2024, Julie joined Gross McGinley, LLP, and has become an integral part of the firm’s litigation group where she practices in insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, and criminal defense matters.

A graduate of Misericordia University where she earned her BA in Philosophy Pre-Law with a minor in psychology in 2009, Julie then went on to earn her JD at Thomas M. Colley Law School, now known as Western Michigan, in 2012. Julie practices law with the philosophy of “Do the right thing without worrying about the outcome.” She strives to serve her clients with integrity and honesty, working diligently toward the best possible outcome.

Julie is an avid traveler who enjoys hiking and reading to unwind when not practicing the law.
