Attorney Michael S. Horvath serves the firm’s business, municipal, and real estate clients. He thrives working in fast-paced industries and finds great satisfaction in helping businesses and entrepreneurs achieve their goals. Clear communication and punctuality are values Mike brings to his practice.

While launching a new venture can feel daunting, Mike helps clients navigate the complexities of the startup process. He is well-versed in drafting operating agreements, stockholder agreements, NDAs and other contractual documents to help his clients succeed. In addition to entity formation and general matters, he counsels growing businesses on mergers & acquisitions, as well as selling or transferring a business.

When businesses face municipal challenges, Mike provides support with zoning board applications and municipal resolutions. He represents his clients before municipal boards and helps seek optimal solutions in zoning matters impacting their operations.

As a Sports Law Attorney, Mike guides athletes, schools, organizations, coaches, and parents through the legal complexities of the novel NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) space, including support with contract formation/negotiation, compliance, and legal advising. Additionally, Attorney Horvath represents many different types of clients in the sports industry, which he/she assists with organizational governance & formation, sports-related transactions, contract negotiation, sports injury litigation and more.

As a real estate attorney, Mike handles commercial, industrial, and residential transactions. He is adept at preparing lease agreements and loan documents, ensuring his clients’ best interests are protected.

A former baseball player, Editor-in-Chief of the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal, and President of the Bloomsburg University Club Baseball Team, Mike takes a personal interest in sports law, providing legal insights to athletes and athletic organizations.
